Who We Are

The Box Edit Boutique opened their first store n the Summer of 2020, 18 months later saw their expansion to bigger space within a converted train carriage.

Owners Helen and Ashley were inspired to open the store by the increasing level of strong independent businesses located in the coastal town.

Helen and Ashley met on their journey to motherhood and bonded over their experience of working in Fashion in London for many years. Ashley worked in the buying and designing department for high street brands such as Topshop, Urban Outfitters as well as Reiss and AllSaints. Helen in buying and merchandising at Warehouse, Miss Selfridge & Debenhams in London before returning home to Wales.

​A maternity leave filled with nappies, long lunches, and the not so occasional wine date is when a plan was put into place to increase the offering of womenswear in the Vale Of Glamorgan.
